Community Outreach

In the Holy Quran, Allah encourages us to feed the hungry and assist the needy.  We are not wealthy people, but we know wealth is relative.  In this part of the world, we possess more than we need, and it is a part of our mission to be charitable in our possessions; to share what we have with with those less fortunate.  As such, we are organized to give what we can to our community with pleasure.  Whether we are giving money, donating clothing, distributing meals, or just providing a helping hand, we aim to fulfill this important role with Allah's help.

Few things are as rewarding as performing helpful and constructive deeds for the right reason.  Our reasoning is clearly stated in the Holy Quran - 2:265 (Y. Ali) "And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do."  Surely Allah speaks the truth.
